Friday 2 February – Earth Spirit Circle: Imbolc

Join our informal gathering to celebrate Imbolc, the Celtic fire festival of awakening, when we welcome the returning light and clear away the debris of winter, preparing the ground for the first ploughing and sowing.
We welcome the stirrings of Spring as the first green shoots and the snowdrops push through the soil, giving us encouragement and confidence to light the fires of hope and inspiration in our hearts.
We will work with the energies of the season and celebrate with music, meditation, poetry and more. Please feel free to bring poems, songs, stories, circle dances or other offerings to share with the group.
After the circle celebration we will share food.
Led by Laura Dobson. Starts 7 pm. All welcome.

Sunday 28 January – the pool in the forest

If the outer world overwhelms us, we can always withdraw to our own inner world, the forest of our thoughts, feelings, and inspirations. Deep within that forest is a pool, fed by an underground stream. When the ripples on the pool die down, it reflects the sky in silent contemplation. Meditation is the key to this silent pool within our hearts. Om Shanti.

Led by Mike Rutter. Starts 10.30 am. All welcome.

Sunday 21 January – Everything is holy now

“It used to be a world half there
Heaven’s second rate hand me down
but I walk it with a Reverent air
cause Everything is Holy Now”
Unitarian songwriter Peter Mayer

We draw artificial lines between matter and spirit, sacred and profane, humanity and nature, but these divisions are an illusion.  Everything is connected.  Join us to explore how we may bring spiritual awareness to everyday life.

Led by Laura Dobson. Starts 10.30 am. All welcome.

How do we become transformed? What do we have to do? It seems we need to change the way we see things. But how?

Join us as Sheila Cass asks the questions. Starts 10.30 am. All welcome.
