Tuesday 16 June, 7.30 – 8.30 pm: Poetry Meditation (online via Zoom)

Join us for a meditation using the practice of Lectio Divina, a form of contemplation from the Christian tradition involving reading and reflecting on a piece of scripture. We will use poetry rather than scripture to bring us into a contemplative space. Come and explore your own reflective process as we deepen into silence together.
Led by Sheila Cass. All welcome. Please email minister@chorltonunitarians.org for the Zoom meeting details.

Sunday 7 June, 10.30 – 11.30 am: Soul on deck shines like gold in dark times (online via Zoom)

“One of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul. Soul on deck shines like gold in dark times. The light of the soul throws sparks, can send up flares, builds signal fires, causes proper matters to catch fire. To display the lantern of soul in shadowy times like these — to be fierce and to show mercy toward others; both are acts of immense bravery and greatest necessity.” Clarissa Pinkola Estes

Join us as Hilary Bichovsky leads our reflections on the flame of truth. All welcome.
