Heart and Soul is a contemplative spiritual gathering in which you can take time to reflect on life in the company of others. Each session follows a regular pattern, including readings and music, time for guided prayers of gratitude, compassion for others, self-reflection
, and silent meditation. This week’s theme is ‘gift-giving’, led by Laura Dobson. All welcome to join our online gathering.

In the past, religion was often understood as a body of revealed truth, and each denomination insisted on their own particular interpretation. Nowadays many people, especially the Unitarians, look to a revelation from the spirit within us all, transcending dogma. Ralph Waldo Emerson, himself a Unitarian, played an important part in developing this viewpoint with his doctrine of the Oversoul, of which our individual souls are parts.
Join us at our weekly worship service. This week’s theme is ‘Emerson and the Oversoul’, led by Mike Rutter and Tom Grimshaw. All welcome.
