I lived for a while in Greenbelt, Maryland, conceived of and made possible by Eleanore Roosevelt. There are a handful of “Green” towns built with the same blueprint. I appreciated her vision very much while living in such a unique, tree-covered yet walkable community. And agree with her about the necessity of actively ‘making” peace in ways large and small.
