What’s happening at Chorlton Unitarians this week

Wednesday 10 am: Meditation in the church
Join us to meditate on a beautiful piece of poetry or prose, using Lectio Divina – reading, reflecting, responding, and resting – to guide us. All welcome.

Saturday 19th September at 2PM
Earth Spirit Gathering
Join us to celebrate the autumn equinox, which marks the threshold of the dark half of the year. We pause to reflect on our personal harvest, to give thanks to the earth for her abundance, to start preparing for the rest and renewal of winter, and to honour the balance of light and dark. Led by Julie Wolstenholme. All are welcome.
Please feel free to bring any poems, songs, stories, etc. to share with the group.

Saturday 19th September 7pm to 9pm
A musical evening with the Rustle
Join us as we celebrate the Autumn Equinox with an evening of songs, music and conviviality. Admission free. Donations welcome.

SUNDAY 20th September at 10.30 AM
Sunday Gathering in the church
Join us for our Sunday gathering as we share poems, readings, hymns and reflections inspired by the International Day of Peace. The service will be followed by a shared lunch. Led by Julie Wolstenholme.
All welcome.

Sunday 7.30 pm: Heart and Soul, online
Join us for our contemplative spiritual gathering in which you can take time to reflect on life in the company of others, with readings, music, prayers and meditation. Led by Mark Hutchinson. All welcome.
